Aqua Zumba

Water gymnastics is a very popular form of exercise for elderly people, people with overweight and those who are recovering from an injury. Aqua Zumba incorporates dance and fitness moves and is fun for those who want to exercise in the water. Accompanied by music, funny, optimistic, Aqua Zumba makes exercise appears as a group match.


Exercise in water offers the same benefits that exercise on Earth. Resistance cardio, muscle building and weight loss can be obtained from a class of water gym. Movement against water creates resistance similar to another year of resistance, such as lifting weights, tubes of exercise and fitness machines. In addition the buoyancy of the water makes low impact movement creating less stress on the body.


Aqua Zumba used primarily Latin music rhythms like cumbia, merengue and salsa, but you can also use a variety of lively rhythms in the swing or country music. Due to the resistance of the water, movements will be slower in a class that it would on the ground, but they can be just as intense.


Wear special shoes of water while water gymnastics. These shoes provide cushion and support and sculpture in the unique creation of traction for the bottom of the pool. Some aqua shoes have soles which facilitate drainage of water.


Aqua instructors, which should have special training in the teaching of aerobics, walking normally on the side of the pool showing the movements. According to Zumba Fitness, instructors who are attending a training of Aqua Zumba workshop "learning to teach safe, effective and challenging water-based workouts that integrate the formula of Zumba and philosophy in traditional disciplines aqua gym."
