Zumba Gold Dance For Beginners

Do you want something new and exciting? Something that is easy to learn and has different levels, so you can advance from beginner to advanced? Then try ZUMBA! Zumba is a world wide popular dance and exercise routine that can not only be fun but is good exercise for your health. If you will follow these techniques and tips you to can get involved.

First: Zumba Basic for Beginners

Starting with Zumba Basic program, you will enjoy a slower pace that will give you a chance to try zumba and see if it is right for you. There are many starter classes going on around the country and you will even be familiar with the rhythm and songs. The moves that you will learn will come easy and you can even practice them with out the music at home. It would be good if you visited a class ahead of time to get a feel for the moves because some of the instructors feel that you will catch on quicker if you do. There are even video clips on web sites that will help you learn before you go to classes.

Second: Zumba Gold for True Beginners

If you are a person that is a little bit slow in catching on, you may find Zumba Gold the right program for you. Zumba Gold is good for senior citizens, persons with disability, low on strength and with less flexibility than other people. It is intended for true beginners. Zumba Gold can help you with balance and help you build strength and flexibility and yes it is a great cardiovascular workout. This is a good program who have not been active for a long time and find that they need to be more social and move out of the Lazy Boy.

Third: Advantages of Zumba to the Beginner

We have all heard that aerobics is a good thing for our heart and lungs. Well some us can't do it now and some of us never could do it. But ask me to dance and I'll try that. Zumba is an easy way to get past barrier and learn the different movements and get a little fluid moving in our bodies. We aren't going to be the next Mr or Mrs Beauty or Body Building King or Queen, so we don't need sophisticated workouts but the dance rhythms and music help us get in the grove and we see a little more life in our body as we progress.

With the low level of participation that the Zumba Gold groups have you don't have to be in classes every day. Two or Three times a week will let you get involved to a light degree and see if this is the thing for you. You will be pleased to watch the dial on the scale start to go down as you get involved with the classes. Don't think that this is a culture oriented participation gathering. You will love the music and you may learn something about the culture that Zumba Gold came from.

Forth: Things Required

Don't forget to do a little stretching before you start, and drink a glass of water so you won't get dehydrated. Wear loose, comfortable cloths and shoes that you won't slip on the floor with. Don't forget to sigh-up before you go so it won't take so long to get started. Also, this may be a time that you can take a friend and learn the steps together and practice at home in between classes.
